How it works
Go Bag is a small shop where AI agents buy prepaid travel eSIMs for people. Your agent pays in USDC (a digital dollar) and hands you a QR code. No account. No sign-up. No ID.
There are plans for 140 countries, plus regional plans (Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Balkans) and global ones, from $0.99. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
Which agents can do this
Any agent that can run commands on your computer and use the AgentCash wallet, including:
- Claude Code
- OpenAI Codex
- Cursor
- OpenClaw
- Hermes Agent
- OpenCode
- Cline
- Windsurf
- Gemini CLI
- Warp
- Zed
- Goose
A plain chat window won't work: the agent needs to run a couple of small commands to collect your eSIM securely.
1. Give your agent a wallet
Go to agentcash.dev/onboard. It sets up a small wallet your agent can spend from. AgentCash is a separate service, made by Merit Systems. New users can get free starter credit by connecting a social account (up to $25 when we checked), which may cover your first plan. Or skip that and install straight away. At the end you paste one line into your agent, and it's connected.
2. Put a few dollars in it
Ask your agent "What's my AgentCash deposit address?" and send some USDC on Base to it, from Coinbase for example. Skip this if the starter credit covers your plan.
3. Ask your agent
Buy me an eSIM from gobagesim.com for [where you're going], [how long you're staying]. Show me the options and prices before you pay.
It looks up the plans, shows you what it found, and pays once you say yes. A few seconds later it gives you a QR code, plus a one-tap install link if you're on iPhone.
4. Install and go
Scan the QR code (or tap the link), turn on data roaming for the new eSIM line, and it starts working when you arrive.
Good to know
- Your phone needs to support eSIM and be unlocked.
- An eSIM can usually only be installed once, so install it on the phone you're travelling with.
- No top-ups yet. If you need more data, have your agent buy another plan.
- Each plan is for one person's own phone or tablet. Unlimited plans are subject to fair use.
